Prima dell’inizio della quarantena in Austria, non mi ero mai resa conto di quanto potesse essere triste guardare la stessa noiosa vista fuori dalla finestra per la maggior parte del tempo. Con la speranza che un giorno tali viste potessero diventare in qualche modo interessanti, ho esplorato come creare storie visive quotidiane sulla quarantena, usando i contenuti visivi dei partecipanti ritraenti i loro ritmi e le loro routine. Pur mostrando la noiosa vista dalla finestra, il progetto si focalizza  sulle mie connessioni quotidiane con amici e familiari in Italia, che hanno deciso di condividere le loro esperienze e sensazioni quotidiane durante la quarantena. Attraverso i contenuti visivi ricevuti ogni giorno dai partecipanti e quelli registrati dall’artista, l’obiettivo finale è quello di creare una narrazione collettiva di esperienze di isolamento e interazioni sociali.

Before the beginning of lockdown in Austria, I had never realized how much could be sad looking at the same boring views out of the window most of the time.Wishing that one day these views might become somehow interesting, I explore how to create daily visual stories about quarantine, combining them to participants’ visual contents portraying their rhythms and routines. While showing the boring view out of the window, the project shows my daily connections with friends and family in Italy, who decided to share their daily experiences and feelings during the lockdown.Through visual contents received everyday by participants and contents recorded by the artist, the end-goal is creating a collective storytelling of experiences of isolation and social interactions.
