The artist, born in Naples in 1977, graduated in architecture in 2004. In 2008 he won the competition to design the Italian Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo 2010. In 2009 he won the prize Europe40Under40 sponsored by the Chicago Athenaeum and was selected from Ministry of youth for the annual of young creative award in the world (young Blood 09). In 2014 he approached the world of 3D printing for prototyping of design objects. Soon, however, it will begin to use these new technologies in the arts. Finally he could give the matter his sculptures digital computer-made through 3D printing and finishing handmade.
L’artista, nato a Napoli nel 1977, si laurea in architettura nel 2004. Nel 2008 risulta vincitore del concorso per la realizzazione del Padiglione Italia all’Expo di Shanghai 2010. Nel 2009 vince il premio Europe40Under40 promosso dal Chicago Atheneum e viene selezionato dal Ministero della Gioventù per l’annuario dei giovani creativi premiati nel mondo (Young Blood 09). Nel 2014 si avvicina al mondo della stampa 3D per la prototipazione di oggetti di design. Ben presto, però, inizierà ad utilizzare queste nuove tecnologie nel campo artistico. Finalmente poteva dare materia alle sue sculture digitali elaborate al computer attraverso la stampa 3D e la finitura fatta a mano.
